De beroemde Pinot Grigio Blush is altijd lichtroze van kleur. Dat komt omdat de Pinot Grigio druif bij goede rijpheid een roze zweem krijgt. Door het kort mee laten vergisten van de schillen, kleurt de wijn roze. De druiven van deze rosé zijn afkomstig van geselecteerde wijngaarden uit Veneto en Friuli. Na korte vergisting voor de kleur en zachte persing vindt fermentatie plaats op 14-16°C. Hierna rijpt de wijn op roestvrij stalen tanks gedurende 3 maanden. Deze blush wordt gekenmerkt door zacht fruit, hints van rozen en is licht en verkwikkend.
The famous Pinot Grigio Blush always has a pale pink colour. This is because Pinot Grigio grapes’ skin gets a pink hue when fully matured. By a short maceration of the skins, the wine colours pink. The grapes of this rosé come from selected vineyards from Veneto and Friuli. After short maceration for the colour and soft pressing fermentation takes place at 14-16°C. This blush is characterized by soft fruit, hints of roses and is light and uplifting.
