Van de compacte, zandrijke bodem lokaal ‘Safres’ genaamd, komt deze elegante Châteauneuf-du-Pape, gemaakt van 65 jaar oude stokken Grenache (75%) en Mourvedre (25%). De druiven worden met de hand geplukt, ontsteeld en de wijn rijpt 14 maanden op zowel de voor de regio klassieke foudres (75%) als demi-muids (25%). Deze energieke rood heeft grote aromatische rijkdom, ondersteund door een zijdeachtige structuur en mooie fraîcheur in de afdronk.
This elegant Châteauneuf-du-Pape is made from 65 year old vines Grenache (75%) and Mourvèdre (25%) planted on compact, sandy soil, locally named ‘Safres’. All grapes are hand-picked and destemmed and this wine ripends for 14 months on both the region’s classic foudres (75%) as wel as on demi-muids (25%). This energetic red has tremendous aromatic richness, supported by a silky structure and beautiful freshness in the aftertaste.
