Bouzereau heeft maar een klein perceel van deze Premier Cru, deze ligt op dezelfde hoogte als ‘Charmes Dessus’, waar de fijne, kalk- en kiezelrijke bodem zorgt voor wijnen met veel minerale spanning. Deze Premier Cru is subtiel, maar krachtig. In zijn jeugd vrij ingetogen vergeleken met de flamboyante Charmes. Een wijn die met de jaren zich ontvouwen zal.
Bouzereau only has a small plot of this Premier Cru, on the same height as ‘Charmes Dessus’. The fine chalky and pebble-rich soil provides wines with lots of mineral tension. This Premier Cru is subtle yet powerful. Still modest in its youth compared to the more flamboyant Charmes. A wine that will show itself as it ages.
