De Late Bottled Vintage is één van de meest populaire portstijlen, waarbij de druiven afkomstig moeten zijn van de beste wijngaarden en uit kwalitatief goede oogstjaren. Deze port wordt geproduceerd met de druiven van dezelfde wijngaarden als waar Churchill’s zijn Vintage Port van maakt en wordt 4 jaar na de oogst gebotteld. Belangrijkste druivenrassen in deze blend zijn de Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barocca en Touriga Franca. Deze port is dieprood van kleur en heeft aroma’s van donker fruit, chocolade en specerijen. Een zachte, intense smaak met een zwoele, aromatische afdronk.
The Late Bottled Vintage is one of the most popular types of port, whereby all grapes must come from the best vineyards and high-quality vineyards. This port is produced with grapes of the same vineyards that are designated for Churchill’s Vintage Port and is bottled 4 years after the harvest. Dominant varieties in this blend are Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barocca and Touriga Franca. This port is deep ruby-red in colour and has aroma’s of dark fruits, chocolate and spices. Soft and intense in flavor with a sultry, aromatic finale.
