Dit perceel ligt in het noorden van de appellatie, vlakbij het gehucht Fixey. Cyril begon met het cultiveren van deze wijngaard in 2005. De bodem is arm en stenig. Dit is een zeer goed gemaakte Fixin. De neus is open en expressief, met cassis, bramen en rozen en wat getoaste hints. In de mond veel structuur en gepronoceerde, maar zijdeachtige tannines in compacte textuur. Fixin staat bekend om zijn pittige karakter, dat met de tijd wat verzacht, maar deze wijn is reeds in zijn jeugd zeer drinkbaar.
This plot is situated in the North of the appellation, nearby the small hamlet Fixey. Cyril started cultivating this vineyard in 2005. The soil is poor and rocky. This is a very well-made Fixin. The nose is open and expressive, with cassis, blackberries, roses and toasted hints. In the mouth lots of structure and pronounced, yet silky tannins in compact texture. Fixin is known for its austere character that softens with age, but this wine is already very approachable in his youth.
